PRYZM Brighton

PRYZM is Brighton's largest and most commercial superclub, located on West Street near the seafront. It's designed as a full-scale nightlife complex with multiple themed rooms, each offering different music styles and atmospheres. The venue is known for big student nights, late-night parties, special guest DJs, and large capacity events.

Music & Rooms

Six themed rooms, each with its own decor and genre (e.g., disco, pop, R&B, club anthems). Three main club rooms + three exclusive bars, depending on the night. Music ranges from commercial chart hits to R&B, hip-hop, and party classics.

Weekly Events

EPIK Wednesdays - Official student night for Brighton & Sussex Universities, with themes, competitions, and giveaways. WTF Fridays - Random themes, special guests, and high‑energy party vibes. LOVE Saturdays - The club's flagship weekend event, often paired with bottomless brunches, Dreamboys shows, and Bongo's Bingo.




Atmosphere & Crowd

Very popular with students and young clubbers, especially mid-week. Known for being busy, loud, and high-energy - classic big-room clubbing.

Alcotraz Alcotraz cocktail

Alcotraz is a fully immersive “prison” cocktail bar with actors playing guards, inmates, and a warden. You bring your own alcohol (BYOB) — they turn it into custom cocktails based on your tastes. No menu — every drink is tailored. You wear an orange jumpsuit and get assigned a “cell”. The experience lasts 1 hour 45 minutes.

Patterns also hosts plenty of live music, with regular jazz, indie and pop acts. Converted from an art deco hotel, 10 Marine Parade is an iconic building with a long and impressive musical history, previously Ted Potters Music Bar and the infamous Escape Club. Patterns Brighton is one of the city’s most iconic seafront venues — a hybrid bar, club, and grassroots live‑music space known for its underground electronic nights, live gigs, and vibrant weekend atmosphere. It sits directly opposite Brighton Pier and has become a cornerstone of the city’s nightlife since opening in 2015

Patterns Patterns crowd

The basement rave cave is designed purely for dancing; sonic enhancements come from an L’Acoustics sound system – a key component for live acts and DJs alike. Fridays at the venue are led by Foundations, formed in 2017 the brand works with the cities best promoters to explore the sounds of drum & bass, grime, dubstep, UKG, bassline and everything in between. Saturdays cater for house, techno, electro, disco and all manner of other genres, reserved for the venue’s, ‘Patterns with’, ‘Patterns invites’ and quarterly residency series amongst many other event concepts.

Located on Brighton Seafront the Volks has been leading the way in new and underground club nights in Brighton for over 25 years. Offering 2 rooms of unpretentious, unadulterated clubbing, if you're looking for that jumping, party atmosphere, make sure you pay us a visit!

The soundtracks regularly change between reggae, breaks, dubstep, drum & bass and disco. The venue also organises live bands a well as new and upcoming artists. Popular club nights at the Volks: Strictly Reggae – reggae music night every Monday from 11pm till 5am. Waybeck Wednesday – groovy 70s and 80s disco. Strategy – weekly Drum & Bass every Thursday. A staple of Brighton’s underground music scene for 25+ years, Volks is known for bass-heavy nights, drum & bass, jungle, dubstep, hardcore, and eclectic underground events.
